Subject: Increasing number of vehicles on the city roads

Dear Editor,

I am writing to you today to express my concern about the increasing number of vehicles on the city roads. As a resident of Bengaluru, I have seen firsthand the negative impact that this has on our city.

The increasing number of vehicles on the roads not only causes inconvenience to the people, but also affects the health of millions of people. The increased traffic congestion leads to longer travel times, which can be stressful and frustrating for everyone involved. It also contributes to air pollution, which can cause a variety of health problems, including respiratory infections, heart disease, and cancer.

I believe that the government needs to take steps to check the number of vehicles on the roads. Some possible solutions include:

 •  Increasing the price of fuel to discourage people from driving.

 •  Expanding public transportation options to make it easier for people to get around without a car.

 •  Building more bike lanes and pedestrian paths to encourage people to walk or bike instead of drive.

I urge the government to take action to address this problem. The health and well-being of our city depends on it.

Sincerely,

Rahul/Rubina

Q2: Write a letter in about 100-120 words to the Manager, Furniture Mart, New Delhi complaining about the poor quality of office furniture you recently purchased from them. You are Mr. D Kashyap, Principal, K.P Public School, Nazafgarh, New Delhi.

Dear Manager,

I am writing to you today to express my disappointment with the poor quality of office furniture that I recently purchased from your store.

On January 15, 2023, I ordered a set of office furniture for my school, K.P Public School, Nazafgarh, New Delhi. The furniture was delivered on January 20, 2023.

Since then, we have had nothing but problems with the furniture. The desks are wobbly, the chairs are uncomfortable, and the tables are scratched.

I have tried to contact your store several times to request a replacement or refund, but I have not received a response.

I am very disappointed with the service that I have received from your store. I am a loyal customer, and I have always been happy with the products that I have purchased from you in the past.

I am hoping that you will take this matter seriously and resolve it as soon as possible.
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Sincerely,
Mr. D Kashyap

Subject: Social Media Impact on Young Generation

Dear Editor,
I am writing to you today to express my views on the ways to maintain a balance in the usage of social media and not get negatively influenced by it.

Social media has become an integral part of our lives. It has connected us with people all over the world and has made it easier for us to stay informed about current events. However, social media can also be a source of negative influence.

One of the biggest problems with social media is that it can lead to comparison. We are constantly bombarded with images and stories of people who seem to have perfect lives. This can make us feel like we are not good enough, which can lead to low self-esteem and depression.

Another problem with social media is that it can be addictive. We can easily spend hours scrolling through our feeds, which can take away from our time for other activities, such as spending time with friends and family or pursuing our hobbies.
Finally, social media can be a breeding ground for cyberbullying. This is when people use social media to bully or harass others. Cyberbullying can have a devastating impact on the victim, leading to anxiety, depression, and even suicide.

So, what can we do to avoid the negative influence of social media? Here are a few tips:
• Be mindful of your time spent on social media. Set limits for yourself and stick to them.
• Be critical of the content you consume. Not everything you see on social media is true.
• Be kind to others. Don't bully or harass anyone online.
• If you are being bullied, report it to the social media platform or to a trusted adult.

Social media can be a great tool, but it is important to use it in moderation and to be aware of the potential dangers. By following these tips, we can all use social media in a positive way.

Sincerely,
Ravi
