Components: Iron, Nickel, Chromium
Properties: Air, Water and alkali do not affect and do not get corroded.
Uses:
- manufacture of utensils

③ Brass
Components: Copper, Zinc
Properties: Malleable, Strong, Corrosion resistant and can be easily shaped.
Uses:
- manufacturing cooking utensils
- machine parts
- musical instruments
④ Bronze
Components: Copper, Tin
Properties: Stronger and corrosion resistant
Uses:
- Statues making
- Coins and medals
⑤ Magnalium
Components: Aluminium, Magnesium
Properties: Very light and hard
Uses:
- Manufacturing scientific instruments,
- Prepartion of Balance and light instruments
⑥ Duralium
Components: Aluminium, Copper and Magnesium in trace proportions
Properties: Light, Strong and corrosion resistant
Uses:
- Preparation of air planes
- Preparation of pressure cookers
⑦ Nichrome
Components: Nickel, Chromium and Iron (traces)
Properties: High Melting Point, Ductile, Does not oxidise at high temperature
Uses:
- Used in iron and heaters as main heating element
- Electric matches and Rocket igniters
- Used with ceramic to prepare clay sculptures
