CBSE Class 8 - Maths  - Half Year Sample Question Paper - (2018-19) (#cbsepapers)(#eduvictors)

Consequent upon the feedback received from the various stakeholders and subsequent deliberation in the meetings of Committee of Courses of the Board and the subject experts, CBSE has decided to change the question paper pattern for English (Core) subject for the current session (2018-2019).
For detail, you may see the notification.  

In Section A,  the No. of Passages has been reduced to two. 
In Passage 1, there will be: 
  • 5-MCQs (1 mark each) 
  • 9-Very short answer type questions including 3 Qs on vocabulary for 1 mark each 
  • 3-Short answer type question (2 marks each)

The Passage - 2, there will be 2 Long answer type questions (5 marks each).

Section A will have 19 questions of 30 marks while the question paper will have 35 as total number of questions. Here follows the sample question paper and marking scheme of English (Core):
