The Commissioner,
Municipal Corporation of Delhi,
New Delhi
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a resident of Paschim Viar. I would like to bring your attention to a problem that we are facing in our locality. The street lights in Paschim Vihar, where I live, are not working properly. It's really dark at night, especially in winter when it gets dark early. This makes it difficult and unsafe for people to walk outside. We are worried about our safety, especially for kids and elderly people. I shall be thankful if you ask the electrical department to fix the street lights as soon as possible. It would make a big difference to our community and help us feel safer at night.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Abhinav Sinha

3. Water is one of the most precious gifts of nature but, unfortunately, we don’t understand its worth. Write a paragraph in about 100-120 words on ‘Save Water, Secure Tomorrow’, considering it as one of the most precious gifts of nature, yet often undervalued.
Save Water, Secure Tomorrow
Water is vital. water is like a treasure of the earth and yet many of us forget its value. Water is used in everyday activities such as drinking, washing clothes, and growing crops among others. Nevertheless, one time is coming when we might have no more water otherwise we don’t cautious it properly. In this regard, saving it whenever possible is essential. We could save water by doing little things like turning off the faucet during tooth brushing or repairing leaking pipes. If we save water now, there will be adequate water tomorrow. Therefore, let us work collectively to conserve water and ensure an improved future for all of us.

The Editor,
The Times of India,
Delhi
Dear Editor,
Through your esteemed newspaper, I would like to bring the attention of the readers to the connection between students' health and diet and meditation. I am writing to share my thoughts on the importance of maintaining a healthy diet and practising meditation, especially for students like me.
Firstly, a healthy diet is super important for our bodies and minds. Eating nutritious food gives us the energy we need to study, play, and enjoy life. It helps us stay focused in school and keeps us strong and fit. I believe that by choosing healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, we can show gratitude to our bodies and the whole universe for giving us the gift of life.
Secondly, meditation is like a special kind of exercise for our minds. It helps us calm our thoughts, reduce stress, and improve our concentration. As students, we often feel a lot of pressure from school and exams, and meditation can be a great way to relax and find inner peace. It's like taking a break from our brains and refreshing our minds for better learning and understanding.
In conclusion, I believe that adopting a healthy diet and practising meditation can have a positive impact on students' lives. It not only helps us stay physically and mentally healthy but also teaches us to appreciate the beauty of life and the universe around us.
Yours sincerely,
Anuradha Grover
