Q2(a): Why did Mrs Packletide want to kill a tiger?

Answer: Mrs. Packletide wanted to shoot a tiger in order to get her pictures published. She wanted to outshine Loona Bimberton, who was a boastful lady. Loona had a joy-ride in an aeroplane and she kept on boasting of her adventurous trip. This was the cause of jealous for Mrs. Packletide and she wanted to do something more exciting and adventurous than her. Ultimately, she planned to kill a tiger to get name and fame.

Answer: It tells us that Mrs Packletide was full of jealousy. She was ready to do anything in order to outshine Loona.

J’habite dans une grande maison. Elle est belle et très confortable. J’habite avec mes parents,ma sœur et mon frère. Ma maison a deux étages. Au rez de chaussée, il y a un salon, unecuisine et une salle à manger. Nos chambres sont au premier étage. La chambre de mes parentsest très grande. La salle de bains de mes parents est grande aussi. Ma chambre est assez grandeavec deux lits. La chambre de ma sœur est petite. Il y a une salle de bains avec sa chambre
aussi. Il y a un garage devant la maison. Il y a un petit jardin aussi autour de ma maison. Dansle jardin, il y a beaucoup de fleurs rouges, jaunes et roses . Mon salon est très grand avec sesmeubles : une table, des chaises, un divan et des fauteuils. J’aime ma maison beaucoup.
