Due of its popularity, there are now a far greater variety of restaurants serving these delicacies. Some of these locations cook meals in unsanitary conditions. Eating a diet high in junk food can lead to a range of health problems. Some of the potential health hazards of consuming too much junk food include weight gain and obesity. Junk food is typically high in calories, fat, and sugar, which can contribute to weight gain and obesity if consumed in excess. Being overweight or obese can increase the risk of a range of health problems, including heart disease, diabetes, and certain cancers. Junk food can lead to cardiovascular diseases. Junk food is often high in saturated and trans fats, which can increase the risk of heart disease by raising cholesterol levels and increasing inflammation.
