ब साधारण वाक्य या सरल वाक्य को मिश्र या संयुक्त वाक्य में, संयुक्त वाक्य को मिश्र वाक्य या सरल वाक्य में तथा मिश्र वाक्य को सरल या संयुक्त वाक्य में बदलना ही रचना की द्रष्टि से वाक्य रूपांतरण कहलाता है| 

सरल वाक्य से संयुक्त वाक्य में रूपांतरण:

साधारण से संयुक्त वाक्य बनाने के लिए उसे दो भागों में बॉटकर 'किंत', 'परंत', “अथवा', “लेकिन' इसलिए “और' योजकों दुवारा जोड़ दिया जाता है|
