प्र १: कथावाचक और हरिहर काका के बीच क्या संबंध है और इसके क्या कारण हैं?

उत्तर: कथावाचक अर्थात लेखक और हरिहर काका के बीच बहुत पुराना और घनिष्ठ सम्बंध है। जब लेखक छोटा था तब काका उससे बेहद प्यार करते थे। वे उसके पिता से भी ज्यादा प्यार करते थे। बड़ा होने पर वही उसके मित्र बन गए। वे उसे हर विषय को समझाते थे। लेखक उन्हें अपने मन की सारी बातें बताता था और काका उन्हें दिल की हर बात कह देते थे। यही वजह है कि लेखक को उनके एक-एक लम्हें की जानकारी है। लेखक को लगता है कि उसको अपना मित्र बनाने के लिए काका ने स्वयं प्यार से सींचा और इन्तजार किया है।
